Brookdale Community College and the Asbury Park School District will partner this winter to launch a free general education development (GED) certification and career training program at the Dorothy McNish Parent Center, 300 Prospect Ave., Asbury Park. Applications are now being accepted for the Youth GED and Career Pathways Program, which will offer local teens and young adults comprehensive training for the GED exam and assistance in starting a new career. The program, opening in January 2017, will help students earn their GED, explore potential career fields, find employment and explore career and college pathways.
