Please join APSD in congratulating our NJSIAA Scholar Athlete of the Year Gillian Bedward!

Gillian is ranked second in the Senior class with a 4.29522 GPA. Gillian participated on the softball, soccer and bowling teams. She is the Treasurer for National Honors Society, Treasurer for Senior Class Government and Secretary for Student Council.  Gillian is also a part of the Asbury Park Dream Scholars Program, in which she takes classes at Brookdale Community College concurrently with high school required classes.  She will graduate Brookdale this spring with her Associates Degree along with her High School Diploma.

Her college future is undecided due to the fact that she has been accepted to The College of New Jersey, Monmouth University, Kean University, Capitol Technology University, Georgian Court University, Rowan University, Temple University, Seton Hall University, Rutgers University Newark & Camden, Fairleigh Dickinson University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Montclair State University, New Jersey City University, Rider University, and Elizabethtown College. She is leaning toward Monmouth University to major in Computer Sciences.
